A session of NEW CHIEF training is scheduled for July 7-10, 2008 at the MLEOTA in Pearl. All new Police Chiefs must attend this 40 hours of training within their first year.  Contact Beverly Abernathy  at MLEOTA to reserve a slot.  All costs for this training is paid for by the State of Mississippi.

The training program and related federal laws pertaining to law enforcement officers flying armed on commercial aircraft  are available on the members only page for your access.  All documents can be downloaded for training purposes.  I will send out the access passwords by separate e-mail to all members.  If you do not receive it contact me at the e-mail address above and I will forward it to you.
